Do you really want to know the actual reason why Rome fell…??

WELL HERE IT IS...because the amount of Romans that made up the general population became so large and unmanageable...that politically the leaders whose job it was to bring the roman empire successfully into the next century could not help the people progress any further.

Instead, no matter what was politically propositioned to the public, the population became sooo large and soooo politically diverse that at the very least, there was always one group trying to stop them...so what happens when rulers of a country become completely powerless or at least hindered politically?? ....well of course you may prevent unwanted societal regressions or perhaps even ignite a revolution, which is fine and dandy, but also very unstable and temporary due to the nature political revolutions. Conversely, the other outcome is possibly a stagnate political stale mate, halting any sort of significant political progression -just more of the same ..whether it be republican or democrat. Now our current administration is far away from an actual revolution, but we do seem to be suffering from some sort of lack in progression or political momentum. If you have a political state without progression, then you have a country that cannot sustain itself or at the very least goes into political upheaval which is perhaps the natural result of any garden variety superpower. It seems like whichever president we elect, there is always someone trying to stop what he is doing. I agree with all of our checks and balances to thwart absolute power, but there also must be some middle ground we can all agree upon.
